Description
The Centre plein air du Lac des Rapides offers a variety of activities for the whole family, year-round.

This summer, enjoy the designated swimming area and explore the natural beauty of the site aboard one of the watercraft available for rent (canoe, kayak, pedal boat, SUP). Hikers can take a stroll through the adjacent trail network and access a lookout offering a breathtaking view of the lake.

Free games available: Spike ball, Finnish Skittles, badminton net, Washer, Giant Jenga, 4 in a Row, Giant Dominoes, Smash Disk, Nature Bingo, various balls, and beach toys.

Summer 2024: Swimming is UNSUPERVISED, and there are NO lifeguards.
Prohibited: dogs, bonfires, slash burning, glass containers, tents.

Stand-up Paddle - $20 / 1 H ($15 / additional hour)
Solo Kayak - $12 / 1 H ($8 / additional hour)
Tandem Kayak - $20 / 1 H ($15 / additional hour)
Canoe - $15 / 1 H ($10 / additional hour)
2-person Pedal Boat - $20 / 1 H ($10 / additional hour)
5-person Pedal Boat - $30 / 1 H ($20 / additional hour)

This winter, discover the Lac des Rapides woods on snowshoes, cross-country skis, or fat bikes! No reservations required. Equipment rentals are available on-site.

LA PETITE EXPÉ – FREE Cross-Country Skiing (12 and under) and FREE Snowshoeing (14 and under)

The winter edition of the Grand défi aims to introduce young people from all backgrounds to the joys of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing while encouraging them to stay active during the winter.

The Centre de plein air du Lac des Rapides is a partner of the La Petite Expé program, welcoming elementary schools and children. Kids can enjoy free access to the trails as well as complete equipment rentals, including skis, boots, poles, and snowshoes.
