On foot or by bicycle, set out to explore the city's many parks. With the sea to one side and the forest to the other, the sandy beaches of Sept-Îles stretch for kilometres and kilometres of coastline beckoning to be explored. 

 

Beach Sector - Monaghan, Ferguson, Routhier and Lévesque

A beautiful landscape just a few minutes from downtown, you will find 4 beautiful sandy beaches that stretch over approximately 12 km.  Access to the beaches of Monaghan in Levesque is free of charge to all. The beaches allow you to enjoy the flats at low tide and the big waves at high tide.

Val-Marguerite Beach - Clarke City

30 minutes west of Sept-Îles, this superb beach of fine sand is accessible free of charge to all. Nearly 10 km of beach. Direct access to Côte-Nord Camping and Caravanning Club. The beaches allow you to enjoy the flats at low tide and the big waves at high tide.

Plage du Centre de plein air du Lac des Rapides

Located just 15 minutes from downtown, this outdoor centre provides a range of activities year-round for the whole family. This summer, take advantage of the presence of certified lifeguards to cool off with a refreshing dip at the supervised swimming area. Take advantage of the rental service for watercraft (canoe, pedal boat, kayak, SUP). Access to the beach is free of charge to all.
